Welcome to my creative home. I'm Brittany K.W., but you can call me Britt-- get comfortable here. I am a self-proclaimed poet and writer from Long Island, NY.  In my writing is where I heal... where I find beauty in imperfections... where I bask in the safety and inspiration of love. 

I love love. I believe it is the very thing that will heal us all. So, with that I share my heart with you. While you are here, my hopes for you is: 
I hope you see your reflection here. 
I hope you find some healing here. 
I hope you feel loved here. 
Most of all, I hope this is merely a stop on your journey to freedom and that somehow you get an extra push to keep going here.

All Is Well.

Hey Beloved,  Before we get into this blog, I hope you're well. I pray you entered into this year surrounded my love and light. I pray you are resting, reflecting, revitalizing, and recharging in this season. I pray you allow yourself to be soft-- that you offer yourself grace. I pray that you go within and love on the parts of you that need a little extra love and care. I pray that you don't run from yourself but instead honor yourself for how far you've come, despite all that has happened... despite all of the grief. I pray you see the good that still is. I pray that you've been taking really good care of yourself-- your heart, your body, your spirit, your gifts...all of the things. I pray that you've been casting your cares down at every sunrise, picking up joy, love and peace every rising. I pray you've been pursuing the vision and the life you have dreamed of, and while in pursuit, I pray you've still found room to be gracious with yourself, because in spite of all of these prayers and hopes, life can still be hard.
